Powerfully Small

This project was a thrill to work on. My writing partner Addie and I came up with the concept of “Powerfully Small” for a generation of the Rugged tablet that was it’s most compact iteration yet. With every feature your typical Dell Rugged might have, in a smaller frame. We created proof of concept writeups, presented to leadership and inevitably ended up in Cape Town, South Africa after a few strong weeks of virtual pre-production with the production team known as RSA. We set-up shop with 3 locations and made the concept come to life.

Location 1

Stevedore working at a port, checking units before they are shipped to their destination with a tablet made for remote connectivity.

Location 2

Field technician working at an Iron mine, with a tablet that could withstand the environment and extensive hours.

Location 3

Satellite technician in the military, working with a tablet that can handle big jobs in any location.
